Best upgrade I've made to my Crosstrek!

"Picked these OLM CS Style tails up for my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek and they completely exceeded every expectation I had. The build quality is exactly what you want from aftermarket taillights: they look sharp, the visibility is a noticeable upgrade, and they're clearly built to take on the elements. Fitment is spot on. No panel gaps, no weird edges, and the sealing (to prevent moisture) is excellent. My favorite part is that they're completely plug and play. No brackets to swap over, no fighting with the harness, no decoders, nothing. Install took me 10 minutes tops. You can really tell that these guys did their homework to get this right for the customer. Unfortunately, some companies in the industry like to cheap out on material to have the highest margins. These guys did not cut corners on materials, and I can confidently say they're worth every penny. On top of a quality product, the customer support was phenomenal. If you're looking to upgrade your vehicle with something that actually fits right and works right out of the box, OLM is the move. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a quality product for their vehicle. Will be a returning customer."

Plug & Play Claims = Misinformation

"The design is fantastic, but installation wasn’t as simple as advertised. You have to transfer parts from the stock OEM taillight harness, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the listing, packaging, or instructions—because, well, there weren’t any. After hours of frustration, I had to hunt down support for an installation image that should have been available from the start. If you’re expecting a hassle-free swap, be warned: you’ll need to reuse the OEM harness components. Had this been clearly stated, it would’ve saved me a lot of wasted time."

Misleading 'Plug & Play' Claim

"The design of these taillights is great—no complaints there. They look fantastic on my Crosstrek. But the installation process? A nightmare. These were advertised as Plug & Play, yet installation required transferring parts from the stock OEM taillight—something never mentioned in the listing, packaging, or anywhere online. I wasted hours trying to figure it out before finally contacting support. Their response was dismissive, as if I should’ve automatically known to reuse OEM components. No apology—just a blunt response and an installation image that wasn’t posted anywhere else. If they had it all along, why wasn’t it included? For a $419+ product, I expected better. These are taillights for my daily driver, not just some decorative add-on—I needed clarity to avoid messing something up. Instead, I got vague, unhelpful customer support that made it feel like my confusion was the problem, rather than their failure to provide proper instructions. Attaching the installation image they sent, so others don’t have to deal with this nonsense. If you want true Plug & Play, look elsewhere."
